We are based in Ulverston, a historic market town in the southern Lake District. With it's bustling market and selection of fascinating little shops, Ulverston has a lot to offer the visitor. Not least our own fabulous emporium!

We like to tempt visitors to the shop with our home made plum and almond tarts, smoked cheeses or Penrith pepperpot sausages. Also you'll see our knockout range of jams, jelly and other preserves together with the full spectrum of Cumbria made crafts. Ideal for gifts.

Famous for it's Hoad lighthouse monument, Ulverston's Hoad hill is a a great place for walking the dog or tiring out the kids on a sunny day and soon to have it's own fancy improvements along the old canal. It's a monument to the late Sir John Barrow, you may have read 'Barrow's Boys' which told the tale of the many local lads sent all over the world whilst working for Sir John.
